  • How many Volunteers will be required for the Solheim Cup 2026?

    Around 800 – 900 volunteers will be required for the Solheim Cup 2026 with approximately 500 being recruited locally from the Netherlands, 300 internationally and 75 student volunteers.

  • When can I apply to become a Solheim Cup Volunteer?

    The volunteer application window has closed. Based upon applications received, provisional role allocations and shift assignments will commence in December 2025.

  • How do I apply for a position within the Solheim Cup Volunteer Team?

  • Can I volunteer the same shifts as my spouce, friends etc?

    Volunteers will be given the opportunity in the app to add if you like to be in the same shift as your spouse or friend. Based on your preferences we will try our best to accommodate.

  • When will I receive a notification on if I have been successully accepted into the Solheim Cup Volunteer Team?

    It is proposed that all applicants will be notified by mid-December if they have been successfully accepted into Solheim Cup Volunteer Team. Unsuccessful applicants will also be notified at the same time.

  • How do I travel to the Solheim Cup at Bernardus Golf?

    All Volunteers and Spectators are requested to travel to and from Bernardus by bicycle or public transport. There will be no onsite parking available but there will be a shuttle bus running from Den Bosch train station to the Bernardus bus terminal each day, free of charge.

    If you are unable to use a bicycle or public transport, there will be a limited amount of Volunteer car parking located at an offsite location which will be served by a shuttle bus to and from Bernardus each day. In order to qualify for one of the limited number of spaces available, volunteers will need to ‘car share’ ensuring that there are a minimum of three volunteers per car for each shift.

  • I've volunteered in the Netherlands before – do I still apply?

    If you have already volunteered at the KLM Open 2025 or the Dutch Ladies Open 2025, In that case, you no longer need to use this registration link. Simply open your VMS app and select Solheim Cup.

  • Is there going to be dedicated section for Volunteers on the Solheim Cup 2026 websbite?

    Yes, there will be a dedicated page on the Solheim Cup 2026 website for Volunteers. Content will progressively include a variety of logistic and administrative information to make the entire volunteering experience as enjoyable as possible. Further details will be provided in due course.

  • Are there any age restrictions in becoming a Solheim Cup volunteer?

    Yes, all applicants must be at least 16 years old on or before 07 September 2026. There is no upper age limit. It is required that all volunteers are physically able to perform the duties that are assigned to them. You must be able to speak English.

  • Is there a minimum number of volunteering days required?

    All volunteers must commit to a minimum of all 3 tournament days as well as at least one practice day or one of the PING Junior Solheim Cup days. Those with greater availability and flexibility are more likely to be selected to be part of the Solheim Cup Volunteer Team.

  • Can I also apply as a volunteer for the Ping Junior Solheim Cup?

    Absolutely. We will also need volunteers for the PING Junior Solheim Cup which will be played at Bernardus on Monday 07 September and Tuesday 08 September 2026.

  • What is the schedule for the Solheim Cup week?

    The Full schedule will be released soon, in the meantime the week will follow the following times:

    07 September Monday – Ping Junior Solheim Cup and Practice Day

    08 September Tuesday – Ping Junior Solheim Cup and Practice Day

    09 September Wednesday – Practice Day

    10 September Thursday – Practice Day

    11 September Friday – Day One – Fourballs and Foursomes

    12 September Saturday – Day Two – Fourballs and Foursomes

    13 September Sunday – Day Three – Singles

  • What can I expect to receive for being a member of the Solheim Cup Volunteer Team?

    You will receive a Solheim Cup Volunteer Clothing package, along with catering during the days you work. In addition, you will receive an individual, non-transferable, Solheim Cup Accreditation pass which will give you access to Bernardus for the Solheim Cup for you to perform your duties during the week.

    You are welcome to watch the Solheim Cup on the days that you are not working. Although you are not able to enter the Crew Café on that day.

  • Where will I be able to collect my Solheim Cup clothing package and Accreditation Pass?

    Your Solheim Cup Clothing package and Accreditation Pass will be available for collection in advance of the tournament from a nearby off-site location pick up point which will be confirmed nearer the time.

  • If I am successful in the process for the Solheim Cup Volunteer Team, am I able to purchase discounted tickets?

    No. We do not envisage an option for volunteers to purchase discounted tickets for friends/family members. However, you will be able to purchase tickets through the website.

  • Do I get paid as a Volunteer?

    No. All volunteer roles at the Solheim Cup are unpaid roles. Your time and commitment will be provided on an entirely voluntary basis.
